What this tool does and does not include
- The starting numbers are examples only. Replace them with your own.
- Simplified 2026 estimates for a British Columbia business or owner. They leave out many real-life details such as other income, deductions and credits.
- Rates and rules change. Confirm them with the firm or the government before you act.
- Information only. This is not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice.
Good to know
- Most health care services are GST-exempt, so a clinic may not recover much GST on costs. See the firm’s GST guide for BC health practitioners.
- Law firms usually charge GST on legal fees but not on trust funds held for clients.
- PST rules in BC changed in 2026. See the firm’s PST changes guide.
