What this tool does and does not include
- The starting numbers are examples only. Replace them with your own.
- Simplified 2026 estimates for a British Columbia business or owner. They leave out many real-life details such as other income, deductions and credits.
- Rates and rules change. Confirm them with the firm or the government before you act.
- Information only. This is not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice.
Good to know
- Ask your lender about prepayment limits before counting on extra payments.
- Leases and loans are treated differently for tax. Ask the firm before signing a big one.
- Rates change. Try your rate plus 1% and plus 2% to see how much room you have.
